About Me
I am Ooi Jing Shun, a passionate and driven Year 1 Polytechnic student with a keen interest & strength in the field of technology, particularly in software development.
I have self-taught several skills and knowledge beyond the syllabus, such as programming languages and frameworks like Flutter, Swift, Python, scikit-learn, HTML & CSS, Firebase, and GitHub repository management. This has enabled me to develop mobile & web applications, machine learning models, and participate in various computing-related competitions & programmes. I am deeply intirgued with the concept of Data Structures & Algorithm, constantly seeking new challenges, keeping myself familiar with common alogorithms such as binary search & linked list data structure.
I possess multiple carefully curated solutions. For instance, I developed a fully functional web application in partnership with Singapore's Migrants Worker Centre as part of a student-initiated project, aimed at helping them better integrate into our society. This highlights how I leverage my innovative attributes to address societal challenges by using technology as a tool for advocacy
I have a strong affinity for tech events such as Google IO and Apple's WWDC, where I am constantly intrigued by the latest software, frameworks, and initiatives that have the potential to elevate the products I create.
